A second Harrison brother is set to continue the family’s legacy at Ohio State.

Jett Harrison, younger brother of former Buckeye wide receiver standout Marvin Harrison Jr. and son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, committed to Ohio State Wednesday.?

The No. 1 player in Rivals’ 2028 recruiting class, Harrison is a 6-foot-1 receiver, who joins a program with a proven track record of sending wide receivers to the NFL.?

Ohio State has had a wide receiver selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in five consecutive years, with Carnell Tate in 2026, Emeka Egbuka in 2025, Harrison Jr. in 2024, Jaxon Smith-Njigba in 2023 and both Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave in 2022.??

Despite losing former offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline to a head coaching job at the University of South Florida in December 2025, Ohio State signed 2026 five-star wideout Chris Henry Jr. and has a commitment from 2027 five-star receiver recruit Jamier Brown, who committed to the Buckeyes in November 2024.?

With Cortez Hankton from LSU filling the void of Ohio State’s wide receiver coach, Harrison, a 2028 prospect, becomes the latest five-star receiver recruit to commit to the Buckeyes.?

While deciding to follow in his older brother’s footsteps with his college decision, Harrison also attends St. Joseph’s Prep School in Philadelphia, the same high school as Harrison Jr. did.

During his time at Ohio State, Harrison Jr. earned two consecutive unanimous All-American honors and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2023, awarded to the nation’s best receiver, before being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.?

Now, the youngest Harrison, will have the opportunity to write his own story in scarlet and gray.?
